Suicide Crisis Intervention

We are not a crisis service. We are not mental health professionals and will always signpost individuals to obtain professional support when they are experiencing thoughts of suicide. In doing this we will provide individuals with the details on our ‘Emergency Help in a Crisis’ card. These details can also be found on our Signposting Page.
If immediate or imminent harm or suicidal behaviour is expressed, Sunflowers will implement our ‘Safety First’ principle. We will directly ask if the individual can confirm they are able to stay safe. This information will then be passed on as an emergency referral to either the emergency services of Suicide Crisis.
