How to Get Involved

Becoming a Sunflowers Suicide Support volunteer is easy. Here's how to get started:

  1. Complete Our Volunteer Application: Fill out our volunteer application form, telling us about your skills, interests, and the type of role you're interested in.

  2. Interview and Orientation: Once we receive your application, we'll reach out to schedule an interview and provide an orientation to our organisation. Volunteers are required to have a DBS check​

  3. Choose Your Role: Based on your interests and our current needs, you can choose a volunteer role that suits you best.​

  4. Training and Support: We provide training and ongoing support to ensure you feel confident and prepared in your role. We require all volunteers to have completed ASIST within 12 months of joining Sunflowers.
